Don't trust, I bought a trailer from Dave at Auto Plaza in Seymour, WI and it's apiece of junk that is so rusted underneath that the frame and axle mounts don't make it safe to operate on the road. I'm glad I didn't kill anyone with this trailer. I thought I could have trusted a used car dealer to inspect vehicles/trailers before selling them.
All of these cars look beat up used up and broken down. They false list vehicles they do not have an order to get you in the door
This place is a joke. Went to look at a Ford Fusion they had listed. When they saw I was really inspecting the vehicle and noticed a few issues, they brought me to view a year older model. The guy said $3900 no strings. He had just bought it the day before so when I asked him to drive with me in it for a test drive, I noticed that the check engine light was on, the brake pads were bad and the vehicle needed some work. I told him I would pay more to have them fix it. I offered $4200, but even still he insisted $3900 was still the pirice and that he would fix it all up. Few days later he called me up and said there was more wrong with it then he thought so he was going to have to raise the price (as i had figured, hence my higher offer). He said $4400. I agreed. He said he was going to get the vehicle in good shape and call me to let me know when it was completed in a few days. Well, two weeks went by and no call. So I called him back, and again he told me there was alot more work so they were still fixing it. I was waiting on this car so I said ok. Another two weeks passed and still no call. Finally after about 4 weeks of being offered the car, I called again...only to be told they had sold it at auction because there was too much wrong with it that they didnt want to fix it! The guy had my name and number, but NEVER NOTIFIED ME THAT THEY NO LONGER HAD THE VEHICLE! THIS WHOLE TIME I WAS WAITING AND NEVER WAS NOTIFIED! TERRIBLE!!!
I got the vehicle for $7,999 and gave him my trade in that was blue booked at $800-$1300 for trade in. He took my vehicle and never gave me anything and told me it was worth nothing. (Small dents and drove very well) After a day of driving my new car, it started driving funny. When I took it in they said it was a wheel bearing. Got it back, did same thing so they took it back again. Ended up the transmission was going and he had to buy the car back from me which was good but I still would not recommend this dealership to anyone!! He said he lost out on money but he practically got my trade in for free
We had bought a vehicle from Dave a few years ago but ended up sticking a lot of money into it. Thought we would give them another chance. Went and put money down to hold a vehicle because we were waiting for an insurance check to come. When I called that we had the check to get the vehicle,Dave told me he had sold it. He was going to auction the next day and would find us one that was just as good. We asked him if he would back anything that was wrong and he said he would help us. Within a month the front bearing went out and the rack and pinion was shot. Cost us over $1000 to fix and when first called him he said that he had nothing in the vehicle for profit so he couldn't help us. Now he won't even return calls. This place shouldn't be in business. Will never go back and never recommend him to anyone.
